Cyrnos Scented Candle

Cyrnos by Trudon evokes the aromatic citrus garden of Villa Cyrnos at Cap Martin on the Côte d’Azur. Lemon, myrtle and thyme bring brightness to a heart of black fig, lavender, pine and cedarwood. Cashmere wood, musk and patchouli give the composition a softer woody depth. The fragrance captures Mediterranean air scented with lavender and the dry aromas of Provence. Commissioned by Empress Eugénie in 1894, the villa stood within a mineral garden planted with pine, olive and fig trees. Trudon’s story recalls queens, poets, aristocrats, avant-garde artists and intellectuals gathering beneath fig trees and parasol pines. Coastal views and an unhurried way of life shape its sunlit atmosphere. Manufactured at Trudon’s workshop in Normandy, the candles come in four formats. The 70g Petite Bougie suits travel and gifting, while the 270g Classic Candle offers an everyday option. The three-wick 800g Intermezzo is designed for larger rooms, mantelpieces and dining tables. The five-wick 2.8kg Great Candle brings a sculptural presence to grand interiors and outdoor settings.
