Fir by Trudon evokes winter forests and the familiar scent of a Christmas tree through conifer notes, myrrh and incense absolute. Leather gives depth to Siberian pine and fir, while guaiac wood and Chinese cedar develop its woody character. Spanish cistus and patchouli lend warmth to the resinous base. Part of La Nuit des Glaces, the candle takes inspiration from a Christmas evening at Versailles, where firelight reflects across the Hall of Mirrors. Its artisanal glass vessel is lined with hand-applied silver leaf and lacquered in céladon, producing a mirrored finish that catches the light. Manufactured at Trudon’s workshop in Normandy, France, all three formats draw on expertise inherited from master candle makers. The 270g Classic Candle suits everyday use throughout the home. The three-wick 800g Intermezzo is designed for larger rooms, mantelpieces and dining tables. The five-wick 2.8kg Great Candle brings a sculptural presence to spacious interiors and outdoor settings.
