Josephine Room Spray

Joséphine by Trudon is a room spray that evokes a flower garden in the muted light of dawn. The scene follows a discreet figure moving among roses, jasmine, camellias and irises, tending a garden with an imperial destiny. Floral richness meets a soft, musky and powdery character. The fragrance’s inspiration is Joséphine Bonaparte, the future Empress and passionate botanist who bought the Château de Malmaison in Rueil in 1799. Drawn to its surrounding landscape, she created a romantic garden filled with flowers from around the world. Trudon recalls her affectionate description of these plants as her subjects, whose happiness she tried to ensure.
