Abd El Kader by Trudon evokes a wind moving through the Mascara region and its surrounding mountains, carrying fresh mint, warm ginger, and the scent of tea and tobacco associated with the Ouled Nail tribe. Its green, aromatic character suggests movement and freedom, while jasmine and vanilla soften the composition. The fragrance takes its name from Abd El Kader, born near Mascara in Algeria in 1808. A political and military leader, writer, poet and philosopher, he is presented by Trudon as a founder of the Algerian state. The brand’s portrait recalls his learning, honour and the respect he commanded even among opponents, alongside the nickname “the friend of the French. Introduced in summer 2024, the 1000ml Grand Diffuser brings Trudon’s emphasis on craftsmanship, quality and design to larger interiors. It arrives prefilled with separate reeds and is refillable; the 1000ml refill includes scented liquid and a fresh set of reeds. A 350ml diffuser and 300ml refill are also available.
