Trudon’s inspiration pays homage to Madeleine de Maupin, portrayed as an accomplished horsewoman, fencer and seventeenth-century dissident. Her adventurous character informs the fragrance’s balance of floral softness and leather. The 270g Classic Candle is manufactured at the house’s workshop in Normandy, drawing on expertise inherited from master candle makers.
